The native browser dialogs block the page and look foreign inside the
app. One shared modal (#pysim-dialog-modal) with the promise-based
helpers pysimAlert/pysimConfirm/pysimPrompt replaces all 71 call sites
(60 alert, 10 confirm, 1 prompt in profilerNew); deferredPrompt.prompt()
is the PWA install prompt and is untouched.
The helpers serialize through ONE promise queue (overlapping dialogs
appear in order, no message is overwritten). Escape cancels; Enter
accepts except with the Cancel button focused (native behaviour); key
repeats/IME are ignored; a POINTER answer within 500 ms of a dialog
opening is dropped (the buttons keep the same position, so a
double-click's second click would otherwise answer the next queued
dialog - e.g. an alert queued before a destructive confirm). Backdrop
clicks are ignored. The dialog is role="dialog" aria-modal="true" and
traps Tab (the handler cycles the controls the dialog shows: alert OK;
confirm Cancel/OK; prompt Cancel/input/OK), so the focus can neither
leave the modal nor reach a background control (Space would activate
it). When the modal is absent the helpers fall back to the native
dialogs - the Node tests extract single functions without the markup.
Alerts are fire-and-forget (a notification, not a decision); the 10
confirms and the prompt are awaited, which made five functions async
(scriptsDelete, pysimCustomRemove, profilerNew, profilerDelete,
snapshotDelete). Because the modal no longer freezes the page, the
delete flows that mutated by index after the confirmation mutate by
identity now (profilerDelete/snapshotDelete/pysimCustomRemove/
testSuiteDeleteScript/testSuiteDelete): a list reorder during the open
dialog would otherwise delete the wrong entry.
The nine dialog messages that were still raw English literals are
t()-wrapped - three of them (No secured packet to verify/send, Card
reader server is not connected) activated RU entries that had existed
unused because they were never wrapped; Import error and Snapshot save
failed are new keys.
Drive-by: the batch modal's #ram-op-batch-info used whitespace-pre-line,
which has no rule in the prebuilt style.css (the v3.30.0 stale-style
trap), so its notice never line-broke - now whitespace-pre-wrap.
Tests: a new frontend/tests/dialogs.test.js (15 tests: the modal path,
the queue, the double-answer guard, the keyboard, the grace, the trap,
the fallback, the sweep pin, the stylesheet pin) plus the async/helper
updates in 8 existing test files. 945 frontend + 952 Python;

Under start.bat the server's stdout/stderr are pipes into PowerShell's
Tee-Object, so Python encodes with the ANSI code page instead of the
wide console API. cp1251 (Russian Windows) cannot encode the banner's
box-drawing rule (U+2500), and that print killed the server with
UnicodeEncodeError before it could listen.
- _guard_console_streams() (the first statement of main()) sets
errors="replace" on both streams: an unencodable character prints as
'?' and can never raise.
- _console_rule() picks the widest banner rule its stream can encode -
U+2500 where the code page has it (utf-8, cp437), ASCII dashes
otherwise (cp1251, ascii).
- The seven text-layer trace strings are ASCII now: the APDU arrows
(U+2192) and the INIT/CAP-COMPAT em dashes (U+2014 - cp437 cannot
encode them either), so the traces stay readable on any code page.
The raw os.write paths (_log_stdout, the APDU tracer) bypass the text
layer, cannot crash, and were left as-is.
Tests: tests/test_console_encoding.py - the strict-cp1251 control, the
rule's fallback/pretty cases, the guarded banner+traces, a stream
without reconfigure, the main() source pin, and an AST pin that no
print/stdout/stderr literal in the package is non-ASCII.
tests/test_startup_cardless.py's CARDLESS_LINE follows the new ASCII
line.
Verified with PYTHONUNBUFFERED=1 PYTHONIOENCODING=cp1251: the pre-fix
code died at the banner, the fixed code reaches the listening banner
and serves a command (CMD: -> OK, no encode errors).

The v3.30.1 review follow-up. The sweep fixed the two batch-state
strings but two more shared (kind-independent) batch strings were still
install-specific, so a delete/reinstall batch started under an "install"
label:
- 'Start batch' was «Запустить пакетную установку» - the ram-batch-start
button starts every kind - now «Запустить пакетную операцию» (aligning
with the optgroup «Пакетные операции (по картам)»).
- the shared panel hint's «...перезапустите пакетную установку» is now
«...перезапустите пакетную операцию» (the EN was already neutral).
The RU help quoted the old button label: its install row now says
«Запустить пакетную операцию не требует карты», and the row's other
generic "the batch" statements (never retries, the test-run exclusion)
are neutral too; the genuinely install-specific ones (the workflow, the
shared install form) stay.
The v3.30.1 notes were corrected: the counts labels do follow the last
run's kind after a clear (the values stay zero) - the AGENTS entry and
the _ramBatchLastKind/ramBatchRender comments say so now. The
cleared-title test seeds the state before opening the modal (no reliance
on the previous test's sandbox leftovers).
930 frontend + 945 Python; sw cache simple-v452.
The v3.30.0 review follow-up, both items cosmetic:
- The modal's title follows the run's kind, but a cleared report carries
kind: null, so Clear flipped a delete/reinstall run to the install
title. The last seen kind is remembered (_ramBatchLastKind, set in
ramBatchRender) and the title falls back to it through the new
ramBatchModalTitle() helper.
- The two batch-state RU strings stopped being install-specific: 'Batch
stopped'/'Batch finished' are now «Пакетная операция
остановлена/завершена» (the v3.29.0 kinds can delete or reinstall),
matching the help's own «Пакетная операция» wording.
Test: the cleared title keeps the kind and a fresh page keeps the
install default. 930 frontend + 945 Python; sw cache simple-v451.
A running batch now shows in a modal window (the same chrome as the
single-operation modal): the live status on top - the current step from
ram_progress (Step n/N - <step>, with the bar) or the waiting prompt
("Insert next card. Waiting for a card...") - plus the counts and the
last finished card's verdict, and the processed cards below (the same
attempts table with the per-step verdicts).
It opens on Start and on a page load with a run in flight (the first
poll sees ram_batch.active); Close is disabled until the run ends (the
run is server-side and survives a reload - that is what reopens the
window), and Stop/Clear live inside it (Clear only once the run ended).
The panel's new Show status button reopens a finished report. A single
operation takes the modal back; ramBatchRender feeds both the panel and
the modal (the poll's fetch decision now runs for either).
Docs: help EN/RU, the repo AGENTS. Tests: the open on Start and on the
poll, the live status/bar/counts/attempts, the close guard (active vs
ended), the reopen button. 929 frontend + 945 Python; sw cache
simple-v450.
The format is positional: an empty value drops its token, so the parser
now requires every data row to have exactly the header's column count.
That catches an empty value anywhere - including a middle one, which
would otherwise shift the following columns (a missing ADM made the KIC
columns read the KIK values: valid hex, wrong preset) - and a KICn/KIDn
pair declared in the header must carry a usable hex value in every row
(a placeholder fails).
A violation makes the whole file invalid: the report's error names the
line, no presets are returned, and an import (mode) answers 400 - it is
never partially imported. The PWA disables the Import button while the
report carries an error and guards the call.
Unchanged per-row reports: a non-hex PIN/PUK/ADM/PSK value (dropped, the
card kept), an unsupported key size (that keyset skipped), a card whose
remaining keysets are unusable (skipped). All three real samples satisfy
the rule exactly (11/11, 18/18, 18/18).
Docs: help EN/RU, api.md, the repo AGENTS. Tests: the short/long row and
the placeholder-keyset file errors, the valid-file round trip, the
endpoint's refusal (nothing stored), the PWA's disabled button.
926 frontend + 945 Python; sw cache simple-v449.
The import applied one global default keyset to every TAR entry of every
imported card. The preview's TAR table (TAR + MSL, the three role rows +
"+ TAR") now has a keyset select per row, mirroring the preset editor: an
empty "— none —" plus the keysets found in the file with their KIc/KID,
the first preselected, and the editor's amber warning when a non-zero MSL
has no keyset. Each TAR's packets then use exactly the chosen keyset.
- PWA: the global "Default keyset for the TARs" select (and the request's
tar_keyset) is gone; cardsOutfileTarsFromDom/FromForm carry each row's
keyset; cardsOutfileKeysets() became cardsOutfileKeysetOptions() (the
union with the KIc/KID bytes for the labels).
- Server: a `tars` entry's own `keyset` (1-15; an unusable value is a 400)
wins, then the optional global `tar_keyset` (the API shorthand), then the
card's first keyset - parse_outfile no longer clobbers per-entry keysets
with the card-level fallback. presets.normalise_keyset_ref() is
module-level (one rule for the store and the parser).
- Docs: help EN/RU, api.md (the tars entry keyset + the global fallback),
the repo AGENTS. Tests: the per-entry/global/card fallbacks, the
bad-keyset 400, the options helper, the row select and round-trip, the
import body. 925 frontend + 944 Python; sw cache simple-v448.
The batch plan is a list of named steps ({name, apdu, delete}) now and
_ram_install_run generalized into _ram_plan_run; POST /api/ram-batch/start
dispatches on kind:
- install-cap (default; delete_package prepends a cascade DELETE on the
package AID - a leftover package blocks INSTALL [for load]),
- reinstall-app (_ram_reinstall_plan: DELETE the applet instance + INSTALL
[for install] from the loaded package - no .cap, no LOAD),
- delete (_ram_delete_plan: one GP DELETE, aid + target app/package ->
P2=00/P2=80).
A delete step tolerates 'not found' (6A88/6A82 - the object is already
gone, the goal is met); any other delete failure stops the chain with the
delete's reason. The policy serves all three kinds and the single
/api/ram-install-app, which now deletes the instance first (make
selectable stays one step); /api/ram-install takes delete_package too.
The status/summary carry the run's kind (the panel labels follow:
installed/deleted/reinstalled) and each attempt carries the last three
steps (steps + steps_total) for the panel's per-step detail. The PWA's
three batch entries are grouped at the end of the operation selector (an
optgroup); ramIsBatchOp() is the one source for "per-card batch".
Docs: help EN/RU, api.md, the repo AGENTS. Tests: the plan builders per
kind, the validations, the delete-package prepend, the not-found
tolerance, the kind dispatch/status/notice, the steps tail, the endpoint
steps, the PWA wiring. 925 frontend + 943 Python; sw cache simple-v447.
The attempts box's content is replaced on every render (the batch panel is
static markup; the render fills the dynamic bits) and replacing a
scrollable element's content resets its scroll. That was harmless while
the render ran once per attempt, but v3.28.7 made it run on every 2 s
poll, so scrolling back through the attempts during a run snapped to the
top each poll.
The render now captures the box's scrollTop before refilling it and
restores it afterwards.
Test: the stub box resets its scroll on an innerHTML write (like a
browser) and the render must keep the reader's position - verified to
fail without the restore. 920 frontend + 928 Python; sw cache
simple-v446.
ramBatchFetch's re-entrancy guard (_ramBatchFetching) is only cleared
when the fetch settles, and ramBatchApplyStatus returned without
rendering whenever it decided a fetch was due - so one stalled
/api/ram-batch/status request (the browser's fetch has no timeout) froze
the whole panel (counts, phase, notice, throbber) at the last successful
render while the server kept installing (live 2026-10-14: 31 installs,
the panel stuck at "Installed: 12"; the log showed all 31 attempts and a
healthy /api/status cadence, so the data was there).
- The summary render now runs on every poll before the fetch decision:
the headline (phase, current card, counts, notice) always follows the
2 s /api/status poll; the detailed fetch only adds the attempts table.
- A fetch guard older than RAM_BATCH_FETCH_STALE_MS (10 s) is released,
so a stalled fetch cannot block the report forever - the next poll
retries and the attempts table recovers.
Reproduced with the page's real functions: 12 good fetches, the 13th hung
-> the panel stuck at 12 (the reported number); with the fix it follows
the summary to 31 and the stale guard retries. Tests: a hung fetch keeps
the counts following the summary; a stale guard is released and retried
(a fresh one is kept). 919 frontend + 928 Python; sw cache simple-v445.
A card may deliver the response packet (the PoR) in the GET RESPONSE of
an ENVELOPE that answered 61xx and signal a proactive command pending in
the same answer (91xx - the CAT success state, not an error).
_send_envelope ran the chain and then cleared the response data
(`data, sw = '', '9000'`), so the operation reported no PoR although the
card had returned one (live 2026-10-14: a GP DELETE answered 6113, the
GET RESPONSE delivered the PoR with 9130, and the delete verdict showed
"ok (no PoR)").
The delivered bytes are kept now; the chain still runs and the exchange
reports 9000. Test: the delivered PoR survives the chain (verified to
fail on the old code). 917 frontend + 928 Python; sw cache simple-v444.
The panel's hint read "«Остановить» завершает текущую карту" - a poor
translation of "Stop finishes the current card first". It is now
"«Остановить» завершает работу после окончания обработки карты", and the
help row's phrase is aligned ("...после окончания обработки текущей
карты"). The EN text is unchanged.
917 frontend + 927 Python; sw cache simple-v443.
The profile rule editor rendered the same "FCI hex (raw SELECT response)"
field for Exact and Custom, although the custom check never reads
`fciHex` (it compares the data objects against the card's live FCI) - so
the field looked like an expectation it was not.
- The raw-FCI field and its decoded preview are exact-mode-only now; the
Custom mode shows just its data-object editor.
- Switching a rule to Custom seeds the data objects from its captured FCI
when the list is empty (the same all-'value' seeding a captured profile
gets); the "load from the captured FCI" link refills an emptied list,
and a rule without a captured FCI still starts empty for manual rows.
From the v3.28.3 review: the ADM's byte-pair rule now lives in one
place, presets.ADM_PATTERN, used by /api/verify-adm and the outfile
import - two literals could drift and an imported ADM could silently
become unverifiable. The RU help's ADM wording is "4-16 hex-цифр
(чётное число)".
Docs: help EN/RU, the repo AGENTS. Tests: the mode switch (seed / keep /
no FCI / switch-away), the field-gating source pin, the pattern's shape
and the both-users pin. 917 frontend + 927 Python; sw cache simple-v442.
The review of v3.28.2 found the parser accepting an odd-length ADM (e.g.
12345), while /api/verify-adm requires byte pairs
((?:[0-9A-F]{2}){2,8}) - the stored value could never verify and was
refused with a misleading "adm must be 4-16 hex digits".
The parser now applies the verifier's exact rule: an odd length (a half
byte) or a value over 16 digits is dropped at import time with "ADM is
not 4-16 hex digits in byte pairs".
Docs: help EN/RU, api.md and the repo AGENTS say "4-16 hex digits in
byte pairs". Tests: the odd-length and the over-16 drop cases (both
real samples are even-length and unaffected: BAP 3632333239463337,
AM0027 CFA3DD9C6B7F0F8C). 915 frontend + 925 Python; sw cache
simple-v441.
The ADM column carries the key's hex value (the length varies, 4-16 hex
digits) - the form the preset store and /api/verify-adm use (pySim pads
it with 'f' to the 8 CHV bytes). The parser treated it as an ASCII
string hex-encoded and either mangled it (3632333239463337 -> 62329F37,
a wrong ADM that would fail VERIFY and consume an attempt) or dropped it
(CFA3DD9C6B7F0F8C - the live report with AM0027_alfa_dsa.out).
- The ADM is stored as-is: non-hex stripped, uppercased, [0-9A-F]{4,16};
a non-hex or too-short value is dropped with "ADM is not 4-16 hex
digits".
- _ascii_from_hex() is gone (its only user was the ADM column).
- Docs: help EN/RU, api.md and the repo AGENTS now say "the key's hex
value, 4-16 hex digits (the length varies)".
Note: presets imported from a BAP-style file before this fix hold the
mangled ADM - re-import or correct them.
Tests: the BAP fixture (the hex as-is), the AM0027 shape, a
short/lowercase value and the drop cases. Both real samples verified
(BAP 3632333239463337, AM0027 CFA3DD9C6B7F0F8C; the ALFA sample has no
ADM column and is unchanged). 915 frontend + 925 Python; sw cache
simple-v440.
- A throbber (#ram-batch-spin) next to the phase line shows while a card
is actually being installed (active && current - the stopping-mid-
install phase included) and hides again while waiting.
- The waiting prompt is explicit now: "Insert next card. Waiting for a
card..." (RU "Вставьте следующую карту. Ожидание карты…"); the old
"Waiting for a card..." key is gone.
- The notice reports only the last *finished* card: starting the next
card's install clears it (state['notice'] = '' alongside
current/installing in _ram_batch_handle_card), so the previous card's
verdict never lingers over the next install. It stays visible while
waiting - the "report the status + ask for the next card" behavior.
- The batch operation's RU label is "Пакетная установка (.cap на
множество карт)"; the help row's title aligned.
Tests: the render test (the new prompt, the throbber visible while
installing / stopping-mid-install and hidden while waiting, an empty
notice hiding the box) and the worker test (the notice is empty
mid-install and set again for the new outcome). 915 frontend + 925
Python; sw cache simple-v439.
- A non-ValueError exception from the install run (a card removed
mid-chain, a transport error) was recorded as a 'skipped' attempt with
the error text - but the chain had started and died, which is a
failure. Only a ValueError (a request/eligibility error: the preset's
ISD keyset, the plan) is a skip now; anything else is a 'failed' record
carrying its error. The PWA's failed row falls back to that error when
there is no failing step / status word to show.
- The panel's Clear button is disabled while a batch is active (the
server refuses the clear with 409 anyway) - no pointless error alert.
- api.md and the repo AGENTS document the two outcomes. Tests: a
transport error mid-chain is a failure (and the card stays seen), the
plan's input validation (the block size, a missing cap_hex), the failed
row without a step, the shared ram_format field, and the Clear state.
915 frontend + 921 Python; sw cache simple-v438 (unchanged).
The bulk workflow: one .cap and one set of install parameters applied to
card after card - swap cards and each one installs as soon as it is
equipped. The server owns the loop, so closing the tab or reloading the
page does not interrupt it.
The install chain is now shared: _ram_install_plan(body) builds the
card-independent part (the parsed .cap, the INSTALL/LOAD sequence, the
block size, the transport knobs) and _ram_install_run(server, body, plan,
scc) runs one chain (the per-card preset/keyset/counter resolution
included); the /api/ram-install handler is the plan + run + response, and
the batch worker calls the same pair. The plan is built once at Start,
so a bad .cap or parameter combination is a 400 there (a malformed
archive included - a zip parse error is the caller's, never a dropped
connection), not a per-card failure. _op_keyset_resolve() is the module
form of the handler's _op_keyset() (the dead _keyset_guard method is
gone).
The worker (_ram_batch_worker, state _RAM_BATCH) polls the card state
every 0.5 s and acts on a new card session while connected; a card
already equipped at Start installs immediately. Per card the preset is
matched by ICCID and its ISD role TAR supplies the keyset (v3.26.0) and
the counter seed (v3.20.0); a card with no readable ICCID, no matching
preset or no usable ISD keyset is recorded as skipped with its reason.
A card is attempted once per run (any outcome): re-equipping it records
"already processed in this batch (<outcome>)" and never installs again -
restarting the batch is the retry. Failures carry the failing step and
the remote SW, are never retried and never stop the run; an unexpected
card-handling error is recorded and the loop keeps waiting.
Endpoints: POST /api/ram-batch/start (no card needed; 400/409), GET
/api/ram-batch/status (card-free - the panel polls it during an install),
POST /api/ram-batch/stop (the first _CARD_FREE_POST: it only sets a flag,
so the button works while the worker holds the card lock; a running
install always finishes first) and POST /api/ram-batch/clear (409 while
active). /api/status carries the ram_batch summary (the detailed state
minus the attempts list), so the panel's headline - the live phase, the
current card, the counts - rides the 2 s poll; the attempts report (the
last 500 kept, the total counted) is fetched only when it changed. The
batch and a test run exclude each other (409 both ways); the state is in
memory - a server restart ends a run.
PWA: the Batch install (.cap file, per card) RAM operation shares the
install form (ramInstallCapFields(); the single install uses it too and
now sends ram_format, and the block-size validation moved before the
modal), hides the preset selector + Execute and the preset-mismatch
banner, and renders Start/Stop/Clear, the phase headline (equip the next
card / installing card + live step / stopping after the current card),
the counts and the attempts table (newest first). The panel only works
inside the visible SCP80 RAM pill.
Docs: help EN/RU, api.md (a section + the four table rows), the repo
AGENTS. Tests: the state/report helpers, the per-card decisions, the
worker loop (a real thread + a fake install), the lifecycle and guards,
the HTTP endpoints (the malformed .cap, the stop under a held card lock,
the test-run refusal) and the PWA panel helpers/wiring. 914 frontend +
919 Python; sw cache simple-v438.
- The endpoint validates algorithm16 (3des2/aes, case-insensitive) and mode
(merge/replace or omitted): a misspelled value answers 400 instead of
silently picking 3DES2 or turning an import into a dry run. The choices
come from outfile.ALGORITHM16_CHOICES, derived from the algorithm map, so
the validation and the parser cannot drift apart.
- A present but unusable PIN/PUK value is reported with its raw text: a value
that strips to nothing (e.g. 'abcd') used to vanish without a report line,
contradicting the "nothing is silently dropped" contract. A column absent
from a short row stays silent - it is not present.
- The column-line detection drops the arbitrary 8-character column-name cap:
a candidate header must carry ICCID plus at least one column the import
consumes (a fixed name or a numbered KIC/KID), so a long unknown column
name next to a real one parses while 'ICCID <value>' and
'ICCID CUSTOMER_NAME' config lines are still rejected. Both real samples
are unaffected.
- PWA: a chosen default keyset survives an empty or failed preview (it used
to reset to null, and the import silently fell back to the card's first
keyset); the select renders the preview's keysets plus a remembered value.
- PWA: the destructive Replace mode asks for confirmation first, matching the
other store-wiping actions.
- api.md documents both validations. Tests: the endpoint's 400s and the
replace import, the raw-value report, the header guards, the keyset
preservation and the declined confirmation. 906 frontend + 904 Python;
sw cache simple-v437.
Import many card presets at once from a card vendor's plain-text dump.
The new pure pysim_simple_server/outfile.py (parse_outfile) plus
POST /api/presets/import-outfile: without `mode` the call is a dry-run
preview returning the parsed presets and a report (nothing is stored),
with `merge`/`replace` the same parse runs and the presets go through
the preset store.
The parser: the data starts at the first line whose whitespace tokens
all look like column names and include ICCID (a leading `word:` prefix
is stripped, so a `var_out:IMSI ICCID ...` header line matches while a
config line naming a value - `ICCID:897...` or `ICCID 897...` - cannot);
one row per card follows. Recognised columns (case-insensitive): ICCID,
PIN1/PIN2, PUK1/PUK2, ADM (the ASCII string, hex-encoded), PSK (32 hex;
an optional PSKID/PSK_ID names the identity, defaulting to the card's
ICCID) and KICn/KIDn - one keyset per numbered pair, up to 15;
IMSI*/EKI/KIKn are ignored. The KIc/KID bytes are inferred: the keyset
number is the column number, the algorithm nibble follows the key size
(8 B DES, 16 B 3DES2 or AES - the preview's choice, 3DES2 default,
24 B 3DES3; anything else skips the keyset with a note), both bytes
carrying the same number (TS 102 225 A.2). The TARs never come from the
file: the caller's table (default the three role entries) is applied
with one global default keyset written into every entry (the card's
first keyset when unset). An invalid optional code is dropped with a
report line instead of failing the card; the report names the columns,
the rows read, the parsed keysets and every skip.
The ICCID normaliser fix (both sides, drift-guarded): the trailing F
(or Fs) is the odd-nibble padding - when the rest is digits only it is
the plain digit form (the vendors print the ICCID as digits+F),
otherwise the value is the raw nibble-swapped EF hex; a raw value never
ends in F, so the rule is unambiguous.
PWA: the Import outfile button in the Cards list, the hidden file input
and the preview panel (the common name, the 16-byte algorithm select,
the TAR table with the role defaults editable and + TAR / remove for
extras, the global default keyset select over the parsed keysets, the
merge/replace mode, the parsed cards table, the report, Refresh
preview, Import). The panel joins refreshDynamicI18n for the language
switch.
Docs: help EN/RU (the term outfile stays untranslated in RU), api.md's
new section, the repo AGENTS. Tests: the parser (both fixture shapes,
the column detection, the key-size inference, the options/TAR table,
the PSK identity, the skips, the store round-trip), the endpoint (the
preview, the import, the duplicate skip, the 400s), the normaliser on
both sides, the PWA helpers/wiring and the algorithm16 drift guard
against outfile.py. 904 frontend + 903 Python; sw cache simple-v436.
An MSL 00 TAR without a default keyset is a legitimate keyless entry, but
_resolve_operation_keyset left the request's KIc/KID empty and the RAM /
APDU builds failed with "invalid literal for int() with base 16: ''".
The resolution now fills the spec's no-security 00/00 KIc/KID form for a
preset entry without a keyset, and refuses a TAR outside the preset with
a hint (the old silent '25' default was arbitrary). The PWA's TAR change
resets the form the same way - a stale previous TAR's KIc/KID would
otherwise travel explicitly and build a non-keyless packet.
Also: the dead _preset_tar_keyset helper removed; tests for both keyless
paths. 892 frontend + 886 Python; sw cache simple-v435.
Every preset TAR entry carries `keyset` (int 1-15) - the keyset every
operation addressed to that TAR uses: mandatory for any non-zero MSL
(the counters are keyset-linked), optional for MSL 00 (allowed: some
cards reject the no-security 00/00 KIc/KID form). The store fills it
automatically when the preset has a single keyset, the validation
refuses an entry naming an undefined keyset, and the schema is 6 (a v5
file loads leniently; editing it forces the fix).
The keyset selectors are gone: the SCP80 TAR field became a select of
the preset's entries (applying the TAR's keyset to the form and seeding
the SPI1 from its MSL); the RAM operations use the preset's ISD role
entry (the PWA sends only the preset id, the ISD TAR, SPI and the
counter override - the server resolves the keyset and the keys:
presets.tar_keyset, _preset_tar_keyset, _resolve_operation_keyset,
_op_keyset, used by send-ota's APDU path, ram-install, ram-install-app
and cap-compat); the counter probe and the test runner's scp80 steps
default to their TAR's keyset (an explicit kvn stays an override). A
security TAR without a keyset refuses the operation ("set it in the
Cards tab") - never a silent keyless send - and the start buttons wait
for a usable operation-TAR keyset.
The TAR probe checks the preset's TAR list only (the standard
TAR_PROBE_TARS list and the custom-TAR localStorage are gone; a `tars`
list selects a subset, a TAR outside the preset is refused), each row
using its own MSL and default keyset. The Cards editor's TAR table
gained a Keyset column (the only keyset preselected, an amber marker
when a security MSL lacks one).
Docs: help EN/RU, api.md's tar-probe contract, both AGENTS. Tests: the
store (the field, the auto-fill, the schema, the string forms), the
server resolution (send-ota + the refusal, the probe's per-row keysets
and refusals), the PWA (the TAR select, the RAM ISD resolution, the
keyset-free requests) - several fixtures updated for the new schema.

The custom-FCI check's `fciExtra: 'fail'` coverage counted only the
exact keys, so a listed template (A5) did not accept its decoded
children (A5/80) and a listed child did not accept its parent - both
were reported as unexpected. An object is now covered by its own key,
by a listed parent or by a listed child (an unlisted sibling still
fails); the seeded flow lists every object and was unaffected.
Tests: the coverage cases (a listed A5 accepts A5/80 + A5/81, a listed
A5/80 accepts A5 but not the A5/81 sibling) - the fixture's A5 length
corrected in the process. Help EN/RU + both AGENTS. 893 frontend +

fciMode 'custom' + fciDos + fciExtra ('ignore' default / 'fail'): each
row is a data-object key (the decoder's keys - 2/4-hex tags and the
nested A5/xx/C6/xx children), a mode (value / present / absent) and, for
value, hex with the contents vocabulary (no '?' = prefix - 8B + 2F06 =
any EF.ARR record of that FID, the record-number-agnostic form; ? =
fixed-length nibble mask). Only the listed objects are checked; 'fail'
also rejects any unlisted object (order-insensitive strictness).
The scan dialog's FCP/FCI selector gained the mode ("Custom (per data
object)" - the acronym spelled out) and seeds every rule created from a
card or a snapshot with that file's captured FCI objects; a manually
added rule starts empty, and the editor offers "load from the captured
FCI" when the list is empty and the rule carries an FCI. The report
reuses the access-rules diff marks; the aspect is 'FCI (custom)',
separate from 'Exact FCI' (the filetype/size/record checks still run).
Docs: help EN/RU (the check bullet + the scan dialog paragraph).
Tests: the check (exact/prefix/mask, present/absent, duplicates, nested
keys, extras ignore/fail, the empty list, the parse error, the
size/record checks still running), the seeding, the editor
rows/datalist/load link, the report, the aspects, the validation.

The live report: an SPI2 01 secured packet reported no PoR. For such a
packet TS 31.115 4.2/4.4 (b6=0) has the Response Packet retrieved by the
ME from the ENVELOPE exchange (SEND SHORT MESSAGE is the b6=1 case), but
_send_envelope only asked for response bytes after a 61xx answer - the
card signals them with 62xx/63xx instead (the "more data" quirk the
remote-command SWs already acknowledge, _ram_remote_sw_ok), so the whole
PoR stayed on the card and the late-PoR STATUS poll found nothing.
_envelope_get_response (shared with _send_event_download, which had the
same 61xx-only code): a 61xx names the GET RESPONSE length; a 62xx/63xx
without data gets Le 256 (00c0000000 - a bare 61 no longer emits the
odd-length '%02x' % 0x100 APDU). The result is adopted when bytes were
delivered (or for a 61xx); otherwise the warning stays, so the v3.6.58
SEND-SM PoR path (the STATUS poll) keeps working.
Tests: the 61xx length, the 63xx+PoR fetch (Le 256), the bare-61
encoding, the warning-kept path (the poll still runs) and the
event-download sharing. 887 frontend + 880 Python; sw cache simple-v431.
The v3.25.5 report's follow-ups: a field the server could not use was
silently dropped, and the PWA also filtered non-hex fields client-side
(never sending them). The POST now collects them and names them in the
response - `invalid` (a malformed key/value: not hex, an odd number of
digits, a non-string value) and `unknown` (a well-formed code outside the
qualifier list), both omitted when everything was applied - and the PWA's
Save sends every field, composes "Not saved: 0A (invalid value), 18
(unknown qualifier)" (`pysimPliRejectMsg`) into a new #pli-save-msg line
under the button and shows "Not saved" briefly.
The guide's timer exception now says "card-initiated automatic action"
(the timer retries every 5 s; polling/menu are suspended, not retrying).
Docs: api.md's POST contract, help EN/RU - which also said "22 PLI
qualifiers" while the list has 25. Tests: the rejection lists per case
(odd length, non-hex value/key, non-string, unknown code) and the
valid-save absence, the PWA message helper and the wiring pins.

The live report: POST /api/pli-dict did not change the dictionary.
_PLI_DATA held a '' placeholder for every qualifier, and the clear
branch's pop removed the placeholder even when there was no override.
The PWA's Save posts every field, so one Save wiped the placeholders;
the guard `if code in _PLI_DATA` then silently skipped every later
override for those qualifiers (HTTP 200 + the unchanged/default dict)
until a restart - and the next Save wiped them again.
_PLI_DATA is now overrides-only ({}; the GET and _pli_data_hex already
fall back to PLI_DEFAULTS) and the guard tests PLI_QUALIFIER_NAMES, so a
new override always sticks and a clear never poisons a later set.
Tests: the endpoint test now saves/restores the dict (its pop(0x01)
cleanup was the same trap) plus a regression - the PWA-style full-dict
POST, then new overrides with and without defaults must stick, a clear
restores the default and a later set still works, an unknown qualifier
is ignored. 886 frontend + 874 Python; sw cache simple-v429.
The access-rules check was exact-only: every listed decoded line had to be
on the card and every card rule listed (missing + extra both fail), so
"READ/WRITE must be always, the RESIZE condition is irrelevant" could not
be expressed.
A rule may now carry accessRules.mode: 'contains' (the editor's Match
selector: Exact default / Contains; the collapsed header badges
"· per operation"): every listed rule is matched per operation - each AM
bit / command entry (RESIZE/INCREASE) must be covered by a card rule with
the same SC list, whatever AM grouping the card uses
(fcpArrRuleOps/fcpArrRuleOpCovered/fcpArrRuleSatisfied) - and the rules not
listed are not checked (no extra side). A form outside the supported
subset (a raw template form, a labelled pairs-form line) compares by exact
string; the proprietary (b8) form stays whole. The check carries mode and
the report notes "compared per operation; other card rules are ignored".
Validation accepts mode in {exact, contains}; the capture keeps writing no
mode (exact).
Docs: help EN/RU. Tests: the per-op matcher, the contains/exact verdicts
(the combined-AM grouping case, a condition mismatch, the RESIZE condition,
not-listed ignored), the editor selector/badge, the validation, the report
note. 886 frontend + 873 Python; sw cache simple-v428.
The runner's three FETCH/TR sites (the proactive-drain action, the
expectation, the cleanup drain) built every TERMINAL RESPONSE from the
script, so a card-announced OPEN CHANNEL during a run was answered
"performed successfully" without opening a channel - SEND DATA was
dropped and RECEIVE DATA returned nothing (silent data loss, broken
applet state).
_test_step_tr now routes 0x40-0x44 through _handle_bip_command: the
terminal answers for real, so the card's channels work inside a run.
The script keeps an escape hatch - a respond with `raw` TLVs or a
non-ok result wins (the applet error-path tests).
The BIP events flow during a run again for the channels the card
itself opened: _bip_data_available and _bip_flush_channel_events no
longer stop at the run guard (a channel only exists because the card
opened it) and the runner flushes the link events after each TR, so an
applet's own HTTP/BIP conversation completes inside a scripted run.
BIP control stays blocked (409).
Tests: the drain/expect/cleanup routing, the raw and non-ok-result
overrides, the run-time data-available and link events. 883 frontend

The TR's response objects are all Min = N in the spec's own table, and
6.8.0 says such objects "should set the CR flag to comprehension not
required" - so the builders now emit the base tag forms:
- device identities 82 -> 02 (every builder)
- PLI data 93/94/AD/AE/BF/E2/E5 -> 13/14/2D/2E/3F/62/65 (26/63 already
base); the PWA inline codecs follow
- POLL INTERVAL Duration 84 -> 04
- GET INKEY/INPUT Text string 8D -> 0D
- SELECT ITEM Item identifier 90 -> 10
- Timer identifier/value A4/A5 -> 24/25
(_bip_tr already used the reference traces' 01/02/03.)
The command details now echo the command's tag form (01/81) besides
its qualifier - 6.8.1 requires the object to be identical to the
command's "including the comprehension required flag": the parser
returns cd_tag and _build_tr, _handle_timer_command,
_handle_bip_command, the menu pendings and testscript.build_tr carry
it. The Result keeps 03/83 (Min = Y). _tr_data_only strips both tag
styles and the POLL Duration decode accepts 04.
Tests: the base forms per builder + the echo + the PWA drift guards;

A card that re-queues a command immediately after each accepted TR
(live 2026-10-11: the EP BAP card re-issued the same PROVIDE LOCAL
INFORMATION 1100 times) turned the background poll's FETCH/TR chain
into an unbounded loop that held _CARD_LOCK forever - every card
operation, a test run's start included, blocked behind it.
The chain now yields:
- _handle_proactive_chain aborts before the next FETCH while a test run
owns the card (_TEST_RUNNING) - the pending command stays for the
script - and takes max_rounds; the background poll passes
_POLL_CHAIN_MAX = 10, so a chatty card cannot hold the lock.
- _do_status_poll re-arms on its run skip (a heartbeat that never
fetches); _timer_expired and the BIP Data-available event wait during
a run; _bip_flush_channel_events stays quiet too.
- _sim_resume_poll() resumes polling at every run end - the two worker
bodies, their exception paths and the spawn failure.
Also the TR command-details qualifier echo (TS 102 223 6.8.1: the
object shall be identical to the command's): _build_tr,
testscript.build_tr and the interactive _menu_send_response echoed a
hardcoded 00 - harmless for the loop's qual-00 PLI, wrong for any
other qualifier. The menu pendings now carry cmd_qual (parsed in the
on_fetch handler).
Tests: the chain bound/abort (a fake card re-queueing a command), the
poll/timer guards, the resume wiring, the qualifier echo in both
builders. 883 frontend + 865 Python; sw cache simple-v425.
- profilerEdit resets the expanded-block map, so opening another profile
(or a freshly scanned one) starts with every access-rules block
collapsed instead of inheriting the previous profile's state.
- Deleting a rule re-keys the map (profilerArrShiftOpen): the entries
below stay, the ones above shift down, so the expanded blocks stay
with their rules.
- The declaration sits before the render function that reads it.
- Test fixture: a real command-description tag (0x85) instead of the
RESIZE branch's 0x84.
Tests: the shift helper, the profilerEdit reset pin, the existing
editor tests. 883 frontend + 858 Python; sw cache simple-v424.
The access-rules form is large for every file rule, so the block now
collapses to its header (a toggle carrying the rule count) and hides
entirely when None is selected - the header keeps the title and the
None/Check radios, so re-enabling is one click (Check also reopens the
block). The expanded state is transient editor UI state (a module map
keyed by the rule index), kept across the editor's re-renders; a rule
without accessRules starts hidden and Check creates the empty block to
build rules in.
Tests: collapsed by default (header + count, no rows), expanded rows,
None and no-accessRules hidden, the enabled-but-empty hint, and the
radio driving the visibility. 882 frontend + 858 Python; sw cache
simple-v424.
The access-rules block was read-only and its Check radio was disabled
without captured lines, so a hand-made rule could not define rules and
captured ones could not be adjusted. It now edits the decoded rule's
structure:
- fcpArrRuleParse/fcpArrRuleEncode parse a canonical decoded line into
the AM (bit mask, RESIZE FILE, INCREASE) + SC condition model and
re-encode it byte-identically (round-trip tested); the template forms
(OR/AND/NOT, SM CRTs, command descriptions) stay raw and removable.
- The editor renders each rule as operation checkboxes (or the command
form) and condition selects (always / never / a key reference with
its usage), with a preview line of the canonical string the check
compares; + rule adds READ always; + condition / x adjust the rows.
- The None/Check radio no longer disables; a new rule can be built by
hand and captured rules adjusted. The stored format is unchanged
(the canonical strings), so capture, the check, the set comparison
and validation are untouched.
Tests: parse/encode round-trips (incl. raw forms), the mutators, the
editor render, plus the existing check tests. 882 frontend + 858

The live card references 6F06 from MF-tree files (MF/7F20/6F07 ->
8B 03 6F06 14), but the resolver compared only the path's first
segment: the reference fell back to the ADF.USIM copy instead of the
file's own DF copy (ISO 7816-4 5.4.3.3 / TS 102 221 9.2.7 walk-up) -
masked on this card only because all four copies are byte-identical.
- The server reads the DF.TELECOM and DF.GSM copies too (MF/7F10/6F06,
MF/7F20/6F06 - TS 51.011), best effort.
- fcpArrRules resolves by the file's DF chain (own DF first, then
walking up to MF); a reference with no copy in the chain resolves
only when a single candidate exists, otherwise it stays silent.
- The implicit form prefers the file's DF copy (6F06), walking up to
the MF copy (2F06).
Tests: the DF copy wins over the ADF copy; two candidates outside the
chain stay unresolved; a single one resolves; the implicit walk-up;
the server reads the DF-tree paths. 879 frontend + 858 Python;

A profile file rule may carry accessRules {expected, enabled?, ignoreFciRef?}:
the check resolves the file FCI's '8B' security-attribute reference against
the card's (or the snapshot's) EF.ARR copies and compares the decoded rules as
a set - record-number independent, so cards with a different EF.ARR layout
still verify. Missing/extra lines are listed in the report; a file whose FCI
lost the reference fails; a reference that cannot be resolved (no cached
EF.ARR / record out of range) is an unverifiable error.
Capture fills the lines when a profile is created from a card
(pysimArrEnsure) or a snapshot (profilerSnapshotArr), before the contents
ignore list - the rules are the meaningful per-file check, and EF.ARR's own
contents stay ignored by default as before. The editor shows the captured
lines read-only with a None/Check toggle; with exact FCI an optional "Ignore
the EF.ARR reference in the exact FCI" checkbox compares the FCI without the
'8B' value (every other DO stays byte-exact; fcpWithoutArrRef), so a different
record number no longer fails while the rules check owns its meaning.
The snapshot comparison is unchanged (byte-exact EF.ARR + FCI catch record
renumbering). New 'Access rules' aspect in the report/summary with a
matching/missing/extra line diff.
Tests: capture, the four check outcomes, the ignore-FCI path, the
aspect/report, validation. 877 frontend + 857 Python; sw cache simple-v424.
- pysimArrEnsure no longer caches a transient /api/arr fetch failure:
the next file click retries instead of silently showing no ARR rules
for the rest of the card session (a success is still cached per
session, and a session change refetches).
- The help (EN/RU) and both AGENTS state the cache scope: only the MF
(2F06) and ADF.USIM (6F06) ARR copies are read - a reference to
another DF's copy is left unresolved.
- Test: the transient failure retries, a success is cached, a session
change refetches. 869 frontend + 856 Python; sw cache simple-v423.
The file manager's decoded FCI shows the '8B' security attribute
reference (EF_ARR 2F06, record 23). The referenced record's access
rules are now rendered as indented muted lines under that row, decoded
with the existing EF.ARR record decoder (AM_DO/SC_DO conditions).
The server reads the card's ARR copies (MF/2F06 and ADF.USIM/6F06,
best effort) once per card session in _apply_equipped_card and keeps
them as server.arr; GET /api/arr serves the cache without the card
lock, a disconnect clears it, and a write to an ARR copy through
/api/write refreshes it. The PWA fetches it lazily per card session
(pysimArrEnsure, keyed by card_session) and resolves the reference with
the selected file's DF context: an ADF.USIM file uses the ADF's 6F06
copy, the implicit reference form too (ISO 7816-4 5.4.3.3 lookup
order). Unresolvable references stay silent.
The '8B' decode now covers all three ISO 7816-4 Table 25 forms:
implicit ARR byte / FID + record / FID + (SEID, ARR) pairs - the pairs
form was mis-decoded as a record before. A snapshot resolves the same
references offline from its own captured EF.ARR copy.
Tests: the three forms, the resolution (DF preference, out-of-range
silence), the snapshot path, the server read/cache/route/write-refresh.

Review fixes for the CAP compatibility test suggestion:
- A cntr_low rejection is exempt from both the failure hint and the
one-click button: the card never executed the command (the packet's
counter was rejected), so the counter box is the actionable path -
the v3.6.58 rule that a low counter is never retried.
- The INSTALL [for load] advice names the cascade action: the package
row's "Delete All" (a plain delete of a package with related objects
can be refused), in EN and RU.
- The RU LOAD hint quotes the RU button label ("Все 0.0" rather than
the English "Set all 0.0").
- Two orphaned LANG_RU entries from the replaced hint strings removed
(the i18n test only checks the missing direction, so they survived).
Tests: the counter-low exemption, the cascade wording and the button
guard pin. 862 frontend + 842 Python; sw cache simple-v422.
A RAM install that fails at a LOAD step is typically the library-version
gate: the card verifies the CAP's import list when the Import component
completes (JC VM 4.5.2). The failure hint now says so and points at the
CAP compatibility test (Set all 0.0, then restore the lines one at a time
to find the missing package and version), replacing the old "retry with a
smaller LOAD block" advice, which is a red herring for that gate.
The failure popup gains a one-click "Run the CAP compatibility test"
button: it closes the popup, switches the RAM operation selector to compat
and runs it with the same .cap (the file input still holds it and the probe
list is prefilled with its imports), so the diagnostic is one click away.
An INSTALL [for load] refusal now gets its own advice instead of the LOAD
hint: the card refused to open the load file - usually a duplicate load
file from an earlier run (delete the package first, Explore -> Delete), or
rejected load parameters.
Tests: the hint's wording and branches (LOAD vs INSTALL [for load]), the
button handler's op switch. 862 frontend + 842 Python; sw cache

Two findings from the review of 2b994a7 (and c9ab15c, reviewed clean):
- trCommandCode() uppercased the query but compared it with the raw
CMD_NAMES values, so the one mixed-case entry ('End of the proactive UICC
session', 0x81) never matched. No visible effect today (0x81 has no table
entry - it falls back to the flat list), but a future map entry for a
mixed-case name would silently not group. The comparison is now
case-insensitive, pinned by a test.
- The docs now say that the commands the spec's tables omit (SEND SS / SEND
USSD / SEND SHORT MESSAGE / GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION REQUEST / End of the
proactive UICC session) keep the flat list, like ANY and the drain's rows.
Also added independent semantic pins for the parsed table (REFRESH 03/08,
PLAY TONE 09, TIMER MANAGEMENT 24, LAUNCH BROWSER 26, OPEN CHANNEL 28/3A/3B,
the MMS commands 27/3D, GET READER STATUS 38 - a column-shift regression in
the parse would break them).
861 frontend + 842 Python.
The step editor's result select offers the full TS 102 223 8.12.0 list; the
spec's applicability table (Tables 6.1/6.2/6.3, "Proactive commands versus
possible terminal response") now groups it by the selected command: the
command-relevant values first (an <optgroup> "relevant for <command>"), the
rest after ("all other results").
The grouping is ordering-only - nothing is hidden, the manual hex entry
covers everything, and ANY (the drain's respond/first too) stays a flat list,
so a stored result always matches an option and real-card deviations remain
reachable.
TR_RESULT_BY_COMMAND is parsed from the pinned PDF (41 commands) and pinned
by frontend/tests/tr_result_by_command.json; trCommandCode() resolves the
editor's command names to their type codes (the first code per name,
matching testCommandOptions) and testFormSelect gained the optgroup support.
Tests: the map vs the parsed fixture, the grouping and the union (nothing
lost), the optgroup rendering and the call-site pin. 861 frontend + 842
Python; sw cache simple-v421.
Pressing the Phone tab's Send (or Rescue) re-sends the profile and starts a
new CAT session. The log was cleared with the rest of the session state,
losing the only record of the card's proactive commands - a common
tweak-the-profile-and-resend loop wiped the history every time.
_resend_terminal_profile now calls _mark_proactive_session(
'terminal-profile') instead: the entries stay, _PROACTIVE_SESSION_START
restarts (so the new session's elapsed values begin at 0) and a boundary
marker entry is appended. The PWA renders the marker as a
'- TERMINAL PROFILE re-sent - new CAT session -' divider (EN/RU).
Equip / disconnect keep the full clear (a card change); the pending-command
cancel, menu timeout and event list reset are unchanged.
Tests: the marker keeps the entries and restarts the timer, the reset still
clears, the re-send path pinned by source (Python) and the renderer's marker
branch (Node). 857 frontend + 842 Python; sw cache simple-v420.
A script's `event` value may be a code (a hex byte or a number) or one of the
server's name keywords (location_status, access_tech, network_rejection,
data_connection, ... - events.py's EVENT_NAMES); the API accepts both. The
PWA parsed every value as a hex string: the step list showed
'EVENT 0xaccess_tech' (the unparsed fallback), the editor fell back to event
03 (Location status) with the location field set, and saving then rewrote
the step to that event - silently corrupting name-authored scripts (the two
Alfa2G trigger scripts use access_tech/data_connection).
A mirrored EVENT_ALIASES map plus an eventCode() resolver (number / hex byte
/ name -> code) now feed the step summary, the editor's event block and the
event check; the summary's fallback no longer prefixes a non-numeric value
with 0x, and the editor keeps its canonical hex form on save (the same code).
Drift guard: the aliases live in frontend/tests/event_vectors.json, asserted
by the Node test (the PWA's map + resolver) and the Python test
(events.EVENT_NAMES + resolve_event). Tests: 856 frontend + 839 Python;
sw cache simple-v419.
Two findings from the review of e0dfc10:
- trResultFormValue stringified the stored value, so a numeric result
(an API-authored or hand-imported script - the engine reads ints as the
value) was misread as hex: 10 showed as '10 - cancel' (0x10) instead of
the value 0x0A, 16 matched no option and fell back to '00 - ok', and
saving the step wrote the shown option back, silently changing the value.
Numbers are converted to their hex form first.
- trResultRowHtml rendered the 'tr-addinfo-list' datalist on every call, so
the drain's form (respond + first) carried two elements with the same id.
It is rendered once per form (an opts.list flag on the first result row;
the second row and the source pin the single occurrence).
Tests: the numeric form values, the datalist only with {list: true} and the
two-row composition rendering exactly one. 855 frontend + 838 Python.
The step editor's result select (the expect's respond, the proactive-drain's
respond/first) offered five symbolic values with no hex. It now offers the
full TS 102 223 v18.3.0 8.12.0 list (00-3F), labelled '<hex> - <alias>' (or
'<hex> - <spec name>'), plus a manual hex entry, and an optional
additional-information byte for the general result (83 02 <result> <info>,
default 00; the 8.12.2 terminal-problem values are suggested through a
datalist).
The script aliases were corrected to the spec: refused 03->22,
not_understood 04->32, modified 06->07, no_response 22->12 - a stored script
using one of them now answers with the corrected value; no_response stays
accepted for compatibility but is no longer offered by the editor.
The server's TR decode tables (_RESULT_NAMES_BASIC/_GENERAL, a GSM 11.14
mix displayed in the proactive log) are replaced by the spec table plus the
8.12.2 additional-information names; the dcs field parses as hex (0A used to
be refused and 10 read as decimal 10); the drain summary's 22 label is fixed.
The result labels are not translated (spec text); the unused RU keys were
removed. Shared fixture frontend/tests/tr_results.json, drift-guarded by
both suites. 855 frontend + 838 Python; sw cache simple-v418.
esc() is string-only, and most EVENT_FORMS option values are numbers
({v:0,l:'Normal service'}, the ACCESSTECH list, ...): the shared event-form
renderer escaped them with esc(o.v), so opening any such event form threw
'str.replace is not a function' - in the Phone tab (pysimEventSendForm) and
the test-script step editor alike (both call the same builder). Introduced
with v3.22.0, when the event action started using the Simulator's forms.
Option values (and the data-gr group) are stringified before escaping, the
pattern the sibling option builder already used; the emitted DOM values are
unchanged ("0", "10").
Test: event_forms.test.js renders every event form (Phone and step-editor
variants) and asserts a numeric option prefills selected - verified to fail
on the pre-fix code. 848 frontend + 830 Python; sw cache simple-v417.
The two buttons under a cntr_low verdict shared the red warning style, and
the notice only ever rendered in the RAM pill: an SCP80 send wrote it into
the hidden RAM container, so the plain-send view showed the verdict text
but offered no way to act on it.
- The counter probe button is amber and the preset jump green (the warning
text stays red).
- The probe renders the inline throbber the RAM operations use
(animate-spin, no modal) while it runs; its result replaces it in the
same box.
- Each pill carries its own notice box (#ram-cntr-low / #sp-cntr-low):
ramShowCntrLow/ramSyncCounter target the originating view's box and
clear the other, the SCP80 send passes 'sp' explicitly (it used to rely
on the keyset-view heuristic), and a new send attempt clears the stale
verdict (ramClearResults clears both boxes).
- The prebuilt Tailwind output was regenerated (npm run build):
border-amber-300/-700 and border-emerald-300/-700 were absent from
style.css (the stale-style trap).
Tests: the button classes, the spinner and the box targeting pinned in
ram.test.js. 846 frontend + 830 Python; sw cache simple-v416.
A suite with start_reset and an incomplete SCP80 preset reset the card and
only then refused the start: the reset block ran before _test_preset_error.
The reset now runs after the preset checks - a run that cannot start must
not touch the card - and stays before the ADM gate, which must see the
post-reset card session (the reset bumps card_session, invalidating the ADM
latch). The ICCID re-match stays with the reset block.
Test: an incomplete preset refuses with 400 and _card_reset_reinit is not
called. 846 frontend + 830 Python; sw cache simple-v415.
An unconfigured PLI dictionary answered result-ok with no data object,
which confuses applications that expect data. The dictionary now has a
base layer of sensible defaults for the qualifiers the pinned ETSI specs
define (TS 102 223 8.x, tags per TS 101 220 V18.3.0 Table 7.23):
- location as the test network 001/01 + LAC 0000 (8.19),
- the classic test IMEI 490154203237518 as F-padded BCD (8.20) and its
IMEISV (8.74),
- language 'en' (8.45), Timing Advance (2E/AE), E-UTRAN (8.61; UTRAN +
E-UTRAN for the multiple-technology qualifier 0E),
- automatic search mode (8.75), a full battery (8.76).
An override set through /api/pli-dict wins, and clearing a field restores
its default (the PWA's Save re-renders the effective values; the GET returns
the override or the default for the full qualifier set). The date/time
qualifier stays empty so the host clock keeps answering it; the
3GPP/3GPP2-specific qualifiers (NMR, ESN, MEID, CSG/HNB, WLAN, slices,
CAG, ...) stay empty - the ETSI specs define no contents for them, and a
fabricated object would mislead the application more than no answer.
Verifying the values against the pinned tag table exposed pre-existing bugs
in the PWA's PLI inline codecs, fixed here:
- Timing Advance used C6 (a 3GPP2 tag) -> 2E/AE;
- IMEISV used 94 (the IMEI tag) -> 62/E2;
- Network Search Mode used AD (the Language tag) -> 65/E5, and its labels
were swapped ('00' Manual / '01' Automatic per 8.75);
- the battery field was a percentage where 8.76 is an enum ('00' very low
... '04' full, 'FE'/'FF');
- encImeiPli padded the odd 15th digit with 0 instead of F (TS 124 008).
